At POC Poses, our mission is to provide artists with a diverse and inclusive timed reference drawing resource that reflects the beauty and uniqueness of people of color. Most existing platforms predominantly showcase skinny or white individuals, leaving little room for authentic representation.
After years of struggling to find suitable references through overly specific Google searches that still fell short, I decided to create a solution.
POC Poses offers over 4,000 carefully curated photos featuring diverse skin tones, body types, and poses, making it easier for artists to draw characters that truly represent the world around them.
By breaking down barriers and celebrating diversity, we aim to empower creativity, inspire representation, and build a community where everyone can see themselves reflected in art.

i had to jump through hoops
At POC Poses, our mission is to provide artists with a diverse and inclusive timed reference drawing resource that reflects the beauty and uniqueness of people of color. Most existing platforms predominantly showcase skinny or white individuals, leaving little room for authentic representation.
